On November 4, 1977, Patricia married Charles Cruzan. At that time, Patricia was teaching school in Fulton County. The county she taught in covered the metro area of Atlanta, Georgia. Most of her teaching years were spent in Fulton, but she also taught in Louisiana and Texas.

On March 8, 1979, Patricia and her husband welcomed the arrival of Christopher. In the picture, Christopher was celebrating his first Christmas by pulling a wooden dog around.

Even though my husband and I have enjoyed traveling throughout the United States in previous years, we took a family vacation to Paris, France and to London, England one summer. One of the highlights of the trip was a visit to the French Opera House.

Besides visiting Paris, France, the family strolled through the streets around London, checking out ancient landmarks. The castles and museums were quite picturesque

While Patricia and Charles were in Washington, they also found time to check out some of the interesting buildings in the capital city of the United States. They went to the White House, the Lincoln Memorial, and the Washington Monument.

Patricia Cruzan spent the early years of her life in Jacksonville and Tallahassee, Florida. Later, her parents moved to various cities in Georgia. She spent most of her childhood in Macon, Georgia. In the black and white picture, she is spending time with her older sister, Jeanette. Patricia is on the left in the picture.

After Patricia graduated from Tift College in Forsyth, Georgia, she taught school in Columbus, Georgia. During Patricia’s first year of teaching, she visited Washington, D.C. in March of 1968. The picture shows her standing outside one of the buildings in the capital city.

Patricia and her son, Christopher, posed for the camera, as Charles snapped the Easter picture. In 1981, the master bedroom window served as a backdrop for the photograph. The picture was made in the family’s former home in Fayetteville, Georgia.

The later addition to our family of Cliff, a golden retriever, added much to our family time together. Christopher enjoyed playing with Cliff in the den of the previous home

As my son grew, he became a fan of The University of Georgia and Georgia Tech. In the picture, Christopher was showing everyone some of his Christmas presents.

My husband and I went to a poetry convention in Washington, D.C. While I was there, I attended many poetry classes. During the 1990s, I read twice at the poetry conventions.

Through the years, when Patricia didn’t work, she enjoyed singing, reading, and writing. She also enjoyed petting her dogs, George, Cliff, and Brit. As Brit grew, Patricia enjoyed watching television with her pet. When time wasn’t spent with her dogs, Patricia was fond of watching the wildlife on her property.

After my husband and I moved, we took a picture in the kitchen area of the new home. My husband and I wore some of the vintage styles of that era.
